If you usually avoid headbands because they usually bring on the dreaded headband headache, this headband is worth a try. It's the only kind I wear because it can accommodate a larger head without pinching.

I love these little hairbands! I have thicker ones and I like them too - but since I got my skinny hairband I find myself reaching for it almost every day. I can't even tell I have it on and it holds my hair back (I don't have thick, heavy hair, though) and it is so subtle I can still wear my dangle earrings without looking tacky. I love the one I have so much I am picking up some more today! Oh, and I love France Luxe too, because they always send you a gift with your purchase and it's usually very nice!

I have 4 of these and I love them. They are very comfortable and do not cause any headache. I am quite pleased to see them in different colors since when I purchased mine there was only black available.

It's a bit pricey for the item.. $8.00 for what amounts to a very light wire with a plastic coating. It's pretty, but since it's so small nobody will notice it. The really good thing about it is that since it's so light it won't hurt the head, but then since it's so light it might not hold the hair back if the hair is very thick or curly and I really don't think it will hold back hairs that aren't very long - the band just doesn't exert enough force to hold back a shorter style. Maybe if you get multiples, you can put together something interesting, but at $8 a pop? Geez!
There's only one seller as far as I can tell, so there's no way to get it cheaper, and it's "third party" so your Prime membership will not help you here, and again the shipping seems kinda pricey just to stuff something in a padded envelope and send it off - $6.95? I feel like I'm already getting gouged on the price of the product, so the shipping is just added insult. They're the only seller so I put up with it, but I don't think I'll be getting another one of these.

This is the saddest excuse for a headband I've ever seen. It doesn't hold onto my head/stay in place and doesn't hold the hair back. I don't understand how other people have found it useful, my hair isn't that thick! I got so frustrated with it, I threw it away b/c it was just a thin piece of useless plastic I could live without.
