Ignore the bad reviews on this product. If you currently are, or intend to be a Toppik or Xfusion user, then this product is a must. I've been using the original Toppik since 2001 and the "shaker top" application method simply sucks. It is especially awful if you require significant coverage (i.e. your hair is very thin to bald in spots) because you cannot control the "shake" amounts. It always clumps and looks bad/fake/weird. This applicator rectifies that problem by evenly distributing the product. Yes, it may take more passes to get the same effect as the shaker top, but it gives you way more control. And your arm doesn't get as tired as the shaker, especially if you have to hold a mirror to get the back at the same time. For $10, this applicator has made my use of Toppik much easier and, subsequently, more frequently than I used to use the product. If this applicator would have existed years ago when I bought my first bottle of Toppik, I would have happily bought it then too. It's worth the cost.

Been using this with the toppik for one year now. i researched and tried just about everything online and this is hands-down the best for short hair. it blends well and looks real. unbelievable. it changed my life.

I was skeptical, but it does work great. I use this mostly for the frontal area. Takes a little practice, but then does a nice job.

I purchased the previous model of this and it works fantastic. If I just use the shaker it dumps random clumps of the stuff everywhere. The sprayer allows me to get a lot more of an even distribution.

This product helps to precisely distribute the toppik powder more evenly to hair close to your scalp. It is difficult to use toppik powder close to your hairline without this product because the powder will naturally go wherever you shake it. Toppik is a fantastic product alone, but the maximizer definitely helps to enhance the effectiveness of Toppik.
